He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He loves spending time with his wife Natalie, their daughter Julia, and their Australian Shepherd Eros. He also plays keyboard and trumpet in a local rock band, Cozen. Beyond music, he enjoys watersports, rooting for the Browns, and working on (and especially driving) his 1918 Model T Speedster.

He graduated at the top of his dental school class and was selected as the recipient of the prestigious Veler Scholarship, which is awarded to only one individual per class based on academic excellence, character, and integrity. Dr. Pappas is active in the Ohio Dental Association and has served in many leadership roles within the organization. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
